What is Social Saturday?
In general, at Galway Community Café we provide the space for people to have one-to-one peer support with a team member. On Saturdays, we offer an alternative option called Social Saturdays where we provide the space for individuals to engage in group activities with our team. Activities include recovery and wellbeing, board games, a social space to meet others, and structured groups including WRAP facilitation and Hearing Voices Meetings.
Additional information about our Hearing Voices Peer Support group can be found here.
Please Note: Social Saturdays may not be an appropriate space to seek individual support, they are a social space to engage in activities with Social Saturday attendees. Should you wish to have one-to-one peer support, you can book a space to chat with a team member here.
